what the font - font finder helps you identify typefaces and CSS typography on pages you open in Chrome.

1. Install

Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to the toolbar so it stays one click away.

2. Open a normal website tab

Inspect works on regular http(s) pages. Chrome system pages and some restricted URLs cannot be inspected.

3. Start inspecting

Open the toolbar popup and start inspecting, or use the right-click menu. Hover text on the page, then click to open the panel.

4. Copy, edit, or export

From the panel you can copy the font family, color, or CSS; edit live styles; browse all fonts on the page; export; or open a Google Fonts search when it fits.

Tips

• Press Esc to leave inspect mode.
• Choose near-element or sidebar placement in panel settings.
• If the panel does not appear, reload the tab and try again.
